ABOUT JAY AVANT
Jay Avant is a rising real estate agent based in Des Moines, Iowa, known for helping first-time buyers and sellers navigate the process with clarity and confidence.
He began his real estate career in 2021 at just 19 years old. In his very first year, Jay sold his first home a $1,000,000 property setting the tone for the level of focus and drive he brings to his work. Since then, he has gone on to sell over $7.3 million in real estate in just four years.
But Jay’s path into real estate wasn’t just about business it was personal.
Born and raised in Des Moines, Jay grew up in a duplex with his mother and three older sisters. Watching his mom work hard to provide. her hard worked shaped how he sees the world today. It’s what inspired him to get into the industry with one goal in mind: to one day buy his mom her first home.
That same purpose now drives how he works with his clients.

first-time home buyers and first-time sellers. His goal is to make the process simple, understandable, and stress-free while also making sure his clients are getting the best deal possible. He believes people shouldn’t feel lost or pressured when making one of the biggest decisions of their life.
Beyond real estate, Jay is committed to creating opportunities for others. He founded the Avant Scholarship Foundation to help the next generation of real estate agents attend real estate school for free, giving them a chance to build a career and change their future.
